Lenoir, NC (July 15, 2015) – In a move dedicated to meet the company’s growth, upholstery specialist Aria Design has relocated Executive Vice President Ted Arditti and his family to China for hands-on management of the company’s manufacturing and logistics. Ted joined Aria Designs when it was founded in 2011.

From offices in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, Arditti will oversee production lead-time, design development, fabrics, quality control, and materials management.   Aria also maintains a logistics office in Shanghai.

Founded by Broyhill Investments, Aria Designs is a manufacturer of mid-priced upholstery crafted both in North Carolina and China with retail price points ranging from $799 to $1,499.

“It was Ted’s initiative to relocate as part of our corporate strategy,” said company CEO Jeff Arditti. “We felt it was inline with our growth. The company needed daily engagement with our overseas manufacturing, design, and quality strategies.

“As a full time resident in China I can better manage our staff and production flow.” Said Executive Vice President Ted Arditti, who has over fifteen years of international production experience.  “Aria is increasing our current customers’ confidence and letting new customers know how dedicated we are to providing the best product and value possible”.

“The move to China comes on the heels of an extraordinarily successful April 2015 furniture market,” Arditti said. “A new and expanded show room at Market on Green enabled the company to showcase additional upholstery collections to a growing customer base. Ted’s relocation, while planned months before the market, couldn’t come at a better time.”
